Notice of Library Trustee Candidate Filing Procedures

  1. The information in this Notice applies to candidates for Library Trustee at the Consolidated Election scheduled for April 4, 2023.
  1. Library Trustee candidates may file candidate petitions at the Lincolnwood Public Library, 4000 W. Pratt Avenue, Lincolnwood, IL 60712.
  1. Candidates can submit documents on the following dates and times:
    • Monday, December 12, 2022 between 9:00am and 5:00pm;
    • Tuesday, December 13 through Friday, December 16, 2022 between 10:00am and 5:00pm;
    • Monday, December 19, 2022 between 10:00am and 5:00pm.
  1. Simultaneous filings of candidate nominating petitions for the office of Library Board Trustee in line at 9:00am on December 12, 2022, or during the final hour of the filing deadline on December 19, 2022 between 4:00pm and 5:00pm, will be entered into a lottery system approved by the State Board of Elections which will take place on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at 5:00PM in the Library's vestibule.
