Bookmark Design Contest Winners

We are so excited to share the winners of our first bookmark design contest. Patrons were asked to submit entries throughout the month of March to coincide with our Lincolnwood Reads program. Our judging panel made up of staff from various departments, had a tough time sorting through the nearly two dozen entries. In the end it was just too difficult to select just one winner from each age group so the judges selected two! Furthermore, we had two entries that fit the theme of our upcoming Summer Reading Program so well, (which until know has been a closely guarded secret), that they earned a special Judges' Award. In total we ended up with 8 winning entries that have now been professionally printed and are available throughout the library for patrons to take. 

Honestly, all of the entries were so good we had to share them with the community. Throughout the month of March, stop by the lobby to view all the beautiful entries. And while you are there, take one (or two!) of the winning bookmarks home with you.
