The Hyatt House Purple Hotel was located at 4500 West Touhy Ave at the intersection with Lincoln in Lincolnwood, IL. It was built in 1960 and was known for its distinctive purple exterior bricks. This is one of those bricks. The hotel was closed in 2007 and demolished in August 2013. The Purple Hotel was in the U.S. National Register of Historic Places until its demolition. Display this brick to recognize that history and as a priceless conversation starter.

The former Purple Hotel Site has been redeveloped as District 1860.
