Words That Change Lives: A Conversation with Chicago Books to Women in Prison (R)

Join us for an inspiring evening that explores the power of books to heal, connect, and transform lives. In partnership with Chicago Books to Women in Prison, we’ll learn how access to reading supports education, reflection, escape, and much more for women and trans people who are incarcerated. Volunteers from the organization will share their experiences sending books to readers behind bars, and we’ll hear from someone who will share how the program supported them during their time in prison and beyond.
