This month we will be reading The House of Eve by Sadeqa Johnson.

In 1950s Philadelphia, Ruby Pearsall is determined to be the first in her family to attend college, but a forbidden romance threatens her plans. Meanwhile, in Washington, DC, Eleanor Quarles marries into an elite Black family and hopes a baby will help her fit in. As their paths cross unexpectedly, both women must make choices that will change the course of their lives.
