This month we will be reading Lucky Boy by Santhi Sekaran.

Two mothers love the same boy: one an undocumented immigrant who became pregnant with him on her way to the US, and one a chef living a comfortable life in Berkeley but consumed by the pain of her inability to conceive. This story explores the complexities of love, identity, and belonging.
