Children & Families

• ChildStats.gov -- Forum on Child and Family Statistics

  Part of the Forum's mission is to coordinate and report the Federal data on children and families. The Forum's annual report, America's Children: Key National Indicators of Well-Being, provides a summary of national indicators of child well-being.

• Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI): Uniform Crime Reports

  Crime statistics on homicide, forcible rape, robbery, aggravated assault, burglary, larceny, theft, motor vehicle theft, hate crimes, and other, less serious, offenses.

  Current condition of education, projections, education indicators and international perspective can all be found here.

  Detailed education information and analysis for public schools. Student proficiency on statewide tests, financial data (spending per student, etc.), student & community demographics (income levels, property values, educational attainment levels, and population information).
