- Statistical Abstract of the U.S.
Find statistics on a wide range of topics from birth and death rates, government finances,
education, environment, industry, to state rankings and comparative international statistics.
As with most statistical databases you will need the Adobe Acrobat program since the data is in
PDF format. The best way to find the needed data is to select the topic from the PDF files rather than
searching by keyword.
- Statistical Resources on the Web
The University of Michigan maintains this directory of statistical data from both government and
non-government sources. The links are arranged under 24 topics from agriculture to weather.
Some databases listed are not available without subscription.

site. As with the Statistical Abstract, locate the topic you need in the index instead of searching by
keyword. For more recent population statistics than the last census´ numbers, select "Population
Estimates" in the index.
