The library board, the district’s governing authority, meets monthly to make decisions about library services, policies, finances, and related business. The board has four standing committees that meet as needed. Each library trustee serves on one or more of these committees. The full terms of those elected to be Lincolnwood library trustees are four years.
April 9, 2013 Library Trustee Election
Three positions on the Lincolnwood Public Library District’s Board of Trustees will be filled at the consolidated election on April 9, 2013. All three trustees will be elected to serve four year terms. Three residents filed Statements of Candidacy within the required timeframe:
1. Linda Poulsom
2. Bertha F. Gimbel
3. Pamela Stavinoga
Schedule of Regular Board Meetings
Board meetings are normally held the third Thursday of the month at 7:30 p.m., at the library's board room at 4000 W Pratt Ave, Lincolnwood IL 60712. Any changes to scheduled meetings will be posted here as well as at the library. Agendas are posted no later than 48 hours prior to the meeting. Approved minutes are posted after they have been approved, typically at the next Board meeting.
